This course is designed to build the participant's confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. The course teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and rapid defibrillation including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.

 

  • Stand-alone course – 4 hours.
  • Including Airway Management – 5 hours.
  • Including Oxygen Therapy – 5 hours.
  • Including both Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy – 6 hours.
  • Glove removal

One-year digital certification in Basic Life Support is issued upon successful completion of the course.

  • In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, and medical or dental professionals.

  • Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in fire service.

  • Rescue team, Sports medicine, Lifeguards, and Ski patrol.
